Called one of the seven natural Wonders of the World, this vast mile-deep canyon carved by the Colorado River will leave you in awe. Continue to Monument Valley, a Navajo Tribal Park, that will look familiar to fans of classic Western films. Explore its mesas and buttes on a 4-wheel drive tour with a knowledgeable Navajo guide. Next, head to Moab to begin your journey through Utah’s Mighty Five - Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks, each renowned for their unique geological formations and breathtaking beauty. First visit Arches National Park, featuring the highest density of sandstone arches in the world—including the much photographed and iconic Delicate Arch. Then travel to nearby Canyonlands National Park with its colorful landscape of canyons, mesas, and buttes. Drive through Capitol Reef National Park, a hidden gem with dramatic cliffs, canyons, and domes. Then head south via the aptly named Scenic Byway 12, considered one of the best drives in the United States, to Bryce Canyon National Park, home to the world’s largest collection of hoodoos -wondrously tall, spire-shaped rock formations in vibrant shades of red, orange, pink, and white. Complete the Mighty Five with a visit to Zion National Park, with its stunning towering sandstone cliffs, slot canyons, and the Virgin River. Your tour ends in the man-made spectacle of bright lights that is Las Vegas, known for its casinos, hotels, entertainment, and nightlife. A jackpot ending to a trip filled with big sights, spectacular scenery, and memories to last a lifetime!
