After settling in, enjoy free time to explore the city. Stroll along the Las Vegas Strip, browse shops, dine at a variety of restaurants, or experience the energy of the city's famous resorts, casinos, and entertainment venues.

Travel across the Mojave Desert and through historic mining country en route to Grand Canyon National Park. Along the way, pass through Williams, Arizona on historic Route 66 and travel through Kaibab National Forest before arriving at the Grand Canyon in mid-afternoon. Spend time taking in the expansive views of Grand Canyon National Park, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. This evening, enjoy the convenience of staying inside the park, providing additional time to experience the South Rim.

Early risers may wish to experience sunrise over Grand Canyon National Park before departing for Page, Arizona. And for a different perspective of the canyon, consider an optional helicopter flightseeing excursion for breathtaking aerial views of the South Rim, the Colorado River, and the canyon’s layered rock formations. After additional time at Grand Canyon National Park, travel toward Page with a stop at Cameron Trading Post, a historic trading post that has served travelers and local Navajo and Hopi communities for more than a century. Browse Native American handcrafted jewelry, baskets, pottery, and other regional artwork. Upon arrival in Page, you may choose to join an optional excursion to stunning Antelope Canyon with a local Navajo guide. This narrow slot canyon is known for its sculpted sandstone walls, shaped by water and wind over thousands of years. Sunlight filtering through the canyon creates changing shades of orange, gold, and red throughout the day. This evening, perhaps join the optional Red Heritage Indigenous Show & Dinner, featuring Native American music, dance, and regional cuisine. This morning, visit Navajo National Monument, established to preserve ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings dating from approximately A.D. 1250 to 1300. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the monument provides insight into the history and culture of the Ancestral Puebloan people. Continue across the Navajo Nation to Monument Valley on the Arizona–Utah border. Known for its towering sandstone buttes and expansive desert landscapes, Monument Valley has served as the backdrop for many classic Western films. Explore the valley on a 4-wheel-drive tour led by a Navajo guide, offering a closer look at some of the region’s most recognizable rock formations and scenic viewpoints. (B)

This morning, stop at Glen Canyon Dam, which spans the Colorado River and creates Lake Powell, one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the United States. Continue into Utah, traveling along the Grand Staircase region on the way to Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce Canyon National Park is known for its distinctive geology and the world’s largest concentration of hoodoos—tall, irregular, colorful rock spires formed by erosion. Throughout the park, rock formations, natural amphitheaters, slot canyons, and fins create a landscape unlike any other in the American Southwest. (B)

Today, visit Zion National Park, named after the ancient Hebrew word meaning a place of refuge or sanctuary. The park is known for its dramatic sandstone cliffs, deep canyons, and rock formations shaped by the Virgin River over millions of years. Enjoy free time to explore the park. Take a scenic walk, hike one of the park’s many trails, or ride the Zion Canyon Shuttle to access viewpoints and key areas throughout the park. Later, depart Zion and travel to St. George, Utah. Upon arrival, enjoy an orientation tour of this historic community, an important center of early Mormon settlement in southern Utah. (B)

Travel back to Las Vegas with a stop at Harry Reid International Airport for guests with homebound flights. Please schedule departing flights after 12:00 noon. For guests extending their stay with additional nights, the tour concludes at the Sahara Las Vegas. (B)
