Day 2
Chamonix, France
Say bonjour to Chamonix, a legendary mountain town set beneath Mont Blanc. As arrival times will vary, there is no scheduled sightseeing through the afternoon. The time is yours to wander Chamonix’s walkable streets, where cafés, outfitters, and historic buildings reflect generations of alpine life. As evening approaches, gather with your fellow travelers for a welcome cocktail party and toast the journey ahead.
Day 3
Chamonix - Annecy - Chamonix
This morning, travel to Annecy, a lakeside town where water routes once carried goods, ideas, and people. Walk the medieval center with a local guide, tracing canals, bridges, and long-standing neighborhoods. Free time follows to browse markets, stroll along the lake, or settle into a café. By afternoon, return to Chamonix. This evening, gather over a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Chamonix
Experience the landscape surrounding Mont Blanc in the way that speaks to you. It’s your choice! Ascend by cable car to the Aiguille du Midi,* rising to over 12,600 feet (3841 meters),** where you stand eye-to-eye with Mont Blanc and take in views stretching across the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps -OR- ride aboard the historic Tramway du Mont Blanc,*** a rack railway that steadily climbs through alpine forests and open mountain scenery. Later, return to the valley and slow the pace with a gentle walk through the forests around Chamonix, sharing the crisp air and quiet moments of the mountains with your fellow travelers.
Day 5
Chamonix - Gstaad, Switzerland
Bid France au revoir and cross into Switzerland. During today’s Impact Moment, visit Barryland, where a foundation actively preserves the legacy of the St. Bernard, Switzerland’s national dog. Later, board the GoldenPass panoramic train and watch alpine valleys and villages roll by en route to Gstaad. After settling in, take a stroll through town. This evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel.
Day 6
Gstaad - Grindelwald
Travel through the Bernese Oberland, where alpine pastures support a long-standing dairy tradition. Visit a local creamery and sit down to a raclette brunch at a working farm, tasting specialties made just steps away. By afternoon, arrive in Grindelwald, set beneath the towering Eiger. Settle in for your 2-night stay. With an evening at leisure, explore this charming village at your own pace.
Day 7
Grindelwald - Jungfraujoch - Grindelwald
This morning, ride a cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch (UNESCO), and find out why it’s called the “Top of Europe.” At this high-alpine destination, take in views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, and wander through the Ice Palace carved into the glacier. By afternoon, you’re back in Grindelwald with the remainder of your day free for independent exploration.

Grindelwald - Lucerne - Seefeld, Austria

After your visit to Lucerne, continue through Liechtenstein, the only country entirely within the Alps. Arrive in Seefeld, Austria, and begin getting your bearings in the village with an evening at leisure.

Seefeld
This morning, settle into the slower rhythm of Seefeld during a horse-drawn carriage ride through the Tyrolean countryside. As hooves echo along quiet lanes, take in the scent of pine, the creak of the carriage, and the vast rocky backdrop. The afternoon is yours to explore Seefeld, or perhaps choose an optional tour to Oberammergau, known for its Passion Play tradition dating back to 1633 – walk the town and theatre site before sitting down to homemade Tyrolean dishes at a local restaurant. Return to Seefeld by evening.
Day 10
Seefeld - Innsbruck - Brunico, Italy
Travel through the Bavarian Alps to Innsbruck, the historic capital of Tyrol. With a local guide, combine a walking tour of the Old Town with a panoramic drive that whisks you past imperial landmarks like the Golden Roof. Free time follows before crossing into Italy.
